Server Side programming module part of the Foundation Degree in IT accredited by the University of Plymouth. The course is for anyone who wishes to develop their server side programming skills in an eCommerce environment using PHP.

The course covers:
• Server based programming techniques
• Using embedded scripting languages
• Structure programming techniques
• Program structure
• Using HTML forms to input data
• Accessing on-line data stores
• XML and SOAP to transfer information
• Appropriate server side techniques in the development of an eCommerce web-site
The course is most suited to people who already have a good understanding of IT and developing basic flat structured web sites. Previous programming experience would be advantage.
